GREETINGS KOLB

GREETINGS, KOLB, once of Brookline.

HOW ARE YOU? I am fine.

I DON'T BELIEVE we really had a chance to discuss JAGGED EDGE after we saw it in 1985.

DO YOU THINK the killer was really Jeff Bridges?

OR WAS IT A CAMEO BY BEAU BRIDGES?

Either way, SPOILER ALERT: I AM ALWAYS WATCHING

That is all.

Nice to see your typewriter no longer drops its y's.

And kudos on the your recent career successes. I have been trolling your blog ever since you called McCain a troll.

I do agree though.

Fun Fact: I was exactly seven months and three days old when "The Jagged Edge" came out.

Also, this short clip of a Sara Palin impersonator should make you laugh uproariously and generally feel better about the world in general.

oh, and I have managed to lose your email address from 3 jobs ago. Should you wish to converse further about 'the good ol days', email me at sam_kolb at yahoo (keeping in mind that my drug-addled state at the time makes recall a challenge).

Any conversation about "Jagged Edge" (1985) must be supplemented by a plug for my favorite James Woods' movie in which his character has a ponytail, True Believer (1989).

This is the film that will forever raise the question, "Why didn't Woods adopt the ponytail in real life?" It is also the film that mercifully settles that question forever.

In this photo (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm565026304/tt0098524) you can make it out.

Sam Kolb, how dare you claim to be from Brookline! Like David Satterthwaite and I myself, you are a true Son of the South End and do not deny it! Perhaps you recall days of racing Matchboxes on plastic tracks and running bases in the alley?
